A little about the Author, Ann Dzieimianowicz
Occupation:
Writer and Cat Career Coach.
How did you become a Cat Career Coach?
My freeloading felines were costing me a fortune in Fancy Feast and kitty paraphernalia. I realized my kitties were not reaching their full potential. So I propelled them into the workforce.
Bibsy started a successful catering biz; Lil’ Fella went into law enforcement and Milton started a lounge act in Vegas. I’m so proud of them. That’s when I realized I could help other cats achieve their dream jobs.
You have some celebrity clients?
I do. I can’t name names. But I’ll tell you these cats were once unmotivated and underachieving. And now my roster includes a bestselling self-help author, a rap artist and a White House staffer.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love to swim. Give me a pool, lake or beach. I am a happy camper. I like to gallery hop in NYC and go to museums; I love to read especially short stories; take walks and explore new places.
What are some of your loves?
I love animals: I’ve been owned by cats, a dog and a painted turtle. I fiendishly love chocolate. Got any chocolate chip cookies...a brownie? I love peaches from the North Fork of Long Island; I’m a magazine junkie, but I’ve got that under control; Fire Island in May; cupcakes from the Cupcake Cafe in NYC (Hmm, I think I must be hungry today)
Is there a place that you dream about?
Florence. I would fly there just to spend an afternoon sitting in the Piazza della Signoria. I would.
One of your favorite books as a kid?
Charlotte’s Web. I cried for that poor spider when she died. I wouldn’t let my parents touch any spiders in the house after that traumatic experience.
Where did you grow up?
I’m a NJ girl, but I was born in Manhattan. I’m crazy about New York state. It has the city, beaches, mountains, nature--everything I love. I should probably move there.
What is your sign?
I’m a Capricorn. I guess I’m always working my way up the mountain.
